Late Season Butterflies at Tower Hill Botanic Garden

I can't believe it's been one month exactly since my last visit to Tower Hill Botanic Garden.  Here are highlights from today's visit.  Seems like lavender and gold/orange are the colors of the day!

Fall Crocus

Dark-eyed Junco
(aka snow bird - whether we like it or not, this bird is a sign of winter)

Painted Lady

Fall Asters against a Larch in the background

Beauty Berry

Yellow-Rumped Warbler

Fall color

Cabbage White on dandelion

Orange Sulphur, looking like fall foliage

I know this is in the mint family, but don't know the name of it.  Beautiful fall color.

Painted Lady

Larch

American Lady

possible Canada Darner (female)

 Larch

 Blackberry Lilies (gone to seed)

 American Robin
(I was just about to get a photo of it eating berries when a loud and large group of Russian tourists walked by.  No berry photo....)

Yellow-Rumped Warbler

Late-blooming roses...still lovely

 Larch
(Can  you tell I love this tree during the Fall season?)

Chipping Sparrow

Yellow-Rumped Warbler

White-Throated Sparrow
(a bit blurry, but I was happy to see it and this is the only shot I got)
