Palm Warbler

Oh, the joy of seeing my first warbler of 2013!!  I was walking along, minding my own business, when this beautiful golden ball of feathers landed on a branch practically at eye level with me.  It took me a moment to react and grab my camera for a photo.

Luckily, it stayed nearby and cooperated for a single good photo before the sun went behind some thick gray clouds and good lighting was lost for the morning.

Spring migration!  Gotta love it!

I don't think this 2nd photo is good because it is overexposed, but I wanted to show the golden breast, and this photo shows it well.
