Garden in the Woods

What a difference a week makes!  Whereas last week the spring blooms were few and far between, this week there were swaths of color throughout the gardens.  Here are some of the things I photographed, although I can't identify them all.

Trout Lilies

Blood Root

Dutchmen's Breeches

 Unfurling ferns

 Eastern Painted Turtle

Eastern Leatherwood

Hepatica

American globe-flower

Red Buckeye

 Northern Cardinal

 Sap on a cut log

Back at home, my little Bluebird Mama is getting used to my car, but when I stopped to get a photo of her sitting on her eggs, she was uncomfortable with the car being there, so she came out to inspect.
