Waseeka Wildlife Sanctuary

Short visit to Waseeka today after finding the road to Breakneck Hill Conservation Land was closed.  I ended up chatting with a reporter and not seeing much wildlife, but here are a few things I did see:

Common Wood Nymph

Gray Catbird

Blue Dasher

Eastern Phoebe

Common Arrowroot

I'm going to have to go back and check out this bunch of plants a second time.  If you look closely at the tree trunk base, there is sundew there!  I was trying to figure out what these flowers were, but I failed to notice the sundew.  Definitely going for a second look!

Meanwhile back at home:

Ruby-Throated Hummingbird

Zabulon Skipper

Slaty Skimmer

Peck's Skipper
