Juvenile Birds at BHCL

I am determined to get back into the habit of early morning walks.  With the current heatwave, it is a much better option than going at midday when it is in the 90s.  I really, really enjoyed this morning's walk.  There was beauty in every direction.

I liked the way the sun was hitting this grass.  The spider web was not visible until I was home.  An added bonus!

Northern Cardinal
(juvenile - note black bill)

Mourning Dove

 Gray Catbird

Look at all the colors in this grass!
