Birding at Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary

First I stopped at Hopkinton State Park to obsessively check on the Common Redpolls again.

Next, I drove over to Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary in Natick.  I was the first car in the parking lot and was surprised at the number of birds in that area.  They must not have all been frightened away yet by human activity.  I spent about an hour in the parking lot!

 Eastern Bluebird

 House Finch

 American Goldfinches

Red-Bellied Woodpecker

 Downy Woodpecker

Northern Cardinal

Now, I finally entered the trail system....crazy, huh?

 Red-Tailed Hawk

White-Throated Sparrow

Downy Woodpecker

 Red-Breasted Nuthatch

Mallards
