Hopkinton State Park, evening
You should have seen them falling off the curb! So cute!
There were fifteen goslings between two sets of parents. I was never able to capture all of them in a single photo. I did see the band on one of the parents but I didn't write down the numbers and now I've forgotten them. Next time!
The back roads of the park have been reopened to cars, so I took a drive down Dogwood Drive to check on whether the Dogwoods are out yet. They are just about ready to bloom. The flowers are located in the center of the pink bracts (a specialized leaf), and as you can see, they are still tightly closed.
The Redbud at the park entrance is in full bloom.
