Goldfinch

I was surprised to look out my window and spot a male goldfinch on my hummingbird feeder.  He stayed there a few minutes, apparently trying to figure it out.  Finally, he moved on to the coneflowers and picked some seeds from the expired blooms.  Oh, how I would have loved a picture of him on the hummingbird feeder!  [Click to enlarge]
