Hawks

I spotted this hawk pair at the Ashland train station this morning.  By the way, a good-sized portion of the parking lot is closed at the train station.  Pavement in this area has bubbled up and there were also large cracks.  If it were just a paving problem, wouldn't they fix it?  Instead, it is all blocked off and closed.  And the way the pavement heaved up makes me wonder if the Nyanza Superfund site just above and behind this lot has caused unexpected problems....

I also stopped at the Sudbury river, to take a spring photo showing the early greening up of the trees.  I have other shots of the river taken from this same location since January, and I think it'll be neat to track its appearance year-round.
