Cardinals

Today I added a little more spring color to my garden:  daffodils and pansies (purchased from the garden center at Walmart) and a couple pots of spent Easter tulips that my mother-in-law gave to me.

Walmart special.   The tag reads "Daffodil White/Orange".  I'm not so sure that's an official name!

Cardinals must be nesting nearby, because the male was very upset by my presence.  Funny, though, that another male was chasing him around wherever he flew.  I wish I could have gotten a photo of them both.
