Chestnut Hill Farm, Southborough, MA

Protected by conservation restrictions, this 131 acre working farm in Southborough was a nice stop for a quick lunchtime hike.

Sometimes you just have to be content with Canada geese and robins for "nature" sightings!  They are not my favorite subjects!  I scared this flock of geese when I walked through the field.  They took off toward the north and then circled back and around the farm.

When I entered the wooded part of the trail, there was a large flock of robins feeding on a bittersweet vine.

Pardon me, your slip is showing!

One last look at the geese as I returned to the parking area.  They're not very good at Hide-n-Seek.
