Evening Walk at Chestnut Hill Farm

It was a beautiful spring evening, but cool ~~ perfect for an evening walk!  There was one stake in the middle of the fields, and it was being used as a hunting perch by a pair of bluebirds.

 Spicebush leaves were budding throughout the forest, and the setting sun was lighting them up in such a pretty way!

I flushed some shorebirds out of the one of the plowed fields, but I couldn't ID them and they disappeared as soon as they landed.  I may have to return to try to find them again!
