Back to Chestnut Hill Farm

You knew I had to go back.  I had that bird I couldn't ID, and I needed another look.  PLUS...there was so much spicebush blooming in the forest, that I really hoped there'd be some butterflies.  Bingo!
1.  Wilson's Snipe!
2.  Mourning Cloaks and Spring Azures!!

I also passed a Black-Capped Chickadee pair working on their nest hole.

See it?  They blended in so well with the turned soil, it was hard to spot them.

The Spring Azures were in a hurry to get somewhere and none cooperated for photos.  :(
But this Mourning Cloak made up for them!  Love this beautiful butterfly on the spicebush!
