April Snowstorm

I woke up to a beautiful spring storm with sticky, wet snow that clung to every surface.

American Goldfinch

I drove out to Tower Hill Botanic Garden to see how the poor spring flowers were surviving the late snowstorm.

The wind was really whipping, so I did slip indoors to warm up a little.  This was the most beautiful tulip in the main hallway!

 Black-Capped Chickadee

The poor magnolias!

And the poor daffodil field.  They were crushed and weighed down by the heavy, wet snow.

What a difference a week makes!
