Sudbury Reservoir Trail

I stayed on the plowed road along the playing fields today.  I'm not ready for the challenge of walking in deep snow....and I really need a better fitting pair of boots.

A pair of wild turkeys which have been here at least a year were navigating the deep snow.  At times one foot would sink under the icy crust, or slide off to the side, and I could just imagine hearing them curse under their breath.

 Stop following us!

These Canada geese kept flying.  There was only a tiny spot of open water on the reservoir here.  Mute Swan had already taken possession of it, but I wonder what he/she will do when it freezes over too.
