Christmas Eve Day at Breakneck Hill Conservation Land

Today was such a nice day, and the snow had almost completely melted away except in shady spots.  The sun was peeking out of a blue sky in a few places, and the temps were in the 30s.  I put off a bit more Christmas shopping in favor of a nice walk at Breakneck Hill.  I only hope I do get to the store later!

I really wanted to see a bluebird for Christmas, and I got one!  (Actually, there was a whole flock, but not too many were in the mood to pose for me.)

 Red-Tailed Hawk
(who also wanted a bluebird for Christmas)

 Song Sparrow

I also saw Blue Jays, House Sparrows, House Finches, American Goldfinches and Dark Eyed Juncos.
