Carolina Wren
White-Breasted Nuthatch
Northern Cardinal
Tufted Titmouse
(clutching a mealworm in his right foot)
Dark-Eyed Junco
Cooper's Hawk (party pooper)
All the birds flew off for safer parts when this hawk landed high above the feeders. It didn't stay long, and the birds came right back, but this bird has evolved and uses bird feeders for hunting grounds. Circle of life. Would you accept it at your feeder?
American Robin
I stopped at the Boylston Town Hall this afternoon (for a photo) and just happened to find a small flock of Robins along with a larger flock of European Starlings. The house next door must have had a feeder because there were Black-Capped Chickadees and Dark-Eyed Juncos there, too.
