Eastern Bluebirds

They're still here (in case you were wondering).  I love them.  What brilliant flashes of blue against the stark whiteness of our deep snow.

I wish I had more mealworms to give them, but I put the last out today.  I'll have to go buy some more.  One of the two Carolina Wrens who live around my deck believe the mealworms are theirs.  It was quite unhappy when 5 bluebirds swooped in at once and made complaining noises the entire time they were eating.  The mealworms were gone in about half an hour.
