Waseeka Wildlife Sanctuary

The woods were silent (relatively speaking) this afternoon.  There were no Ovenbirds calling.  Have they all found mates and are quietly going about raising young?

It is about the size of a dress pin (If you are a seamstress, this will make sense to you!)  You really have to be paying attention to see these, although the color contrast against the grass definitely helps!  I am just starting to see these tiny damselflies regularly, and the beginner's guidebook I have doesn't include all the bluets, so I can't ID this yet.  That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it!
