Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center

We really enjoyed our visit to the Alaska WCC, where you can view rescued wildlife at quite close range.  There are electric fences, but the openings are quite wide and you can get photos through the fence if you are careful.

 Moose

 baby elk

 Elk

Brown Bear

 Musk Ox

Bald Eagle

They did have one rescued Bald Eagle, but I did not take any photos of it.  There were three Bald Eagles on the property that were all wild, but showed up during feeding time to steal red meat from the bears.  This is one of the "wild" ones!

 Common Redpoll

Brown Bear

 Wood Bison
