Hopkinton State Park

I took my lunch break at HSP today.  It's usually pretty quiet there for birds, so I don't often go at noon.  I like to go more often than not for the sunrise.  But....today I was in the mood to stay close to home and do a little walking.  I took the trail at the end of the parking lot by the boat rental.  It wasn't the brightest day, but the muted tones and lack of sun added to the mood of the trail.  It's really quite pretty.

Meanwhile, back at home the birds were more plentiful.

 Dark-Eyed Junco

 Black-capped Chickadee

 Golden-Crowned Kinglet

White-breasted Nuthatch
