Back to BHCL

I wasn't planning on walking at Breakneck Hill Conservation Land at lunchtime, but that is where my feet (and car) took me.

Eastern Phoebe

These beauties won't be around much longer.   They eat insects, and their days in New England are definitely numbered this late in the season.

 Chipping Sparrow

 Pearl Crescent

 Palm Warbler
(yippee for migrants!)

Fall color of any kind is hard to find.

 Northern Mockingbird (maybe Norm!)
near the parking lot
