Savannah Sparrow at BHCL

This photo of the moon is from just after sunrise this morning.

Today's bird of the day is the Savannah Sparrow.  There were quite a few of them around the Community Gardens at lunchtime.  I also saw Song Sparrows, House Sparrows,  one White-Crowned Sparrow (in the orchard) and my good friends, the Palm Warblers.  I was not having much luck with photos today.

There were a lot of Cabbage Whites flitting around the dregs of the Community Gardens, too, and I am happy to report that I also saw a Monarch flying almost in the exact area as before.  Again, I missed my chance with the camera and came home without a record shot.
