Sudbury Reservoir Trail at Parkerville Road

I missed the sunrise at Hopkinton State Park this morning, and the bird activity was limited to a Blue Jay and a small flock of Dark-Eyed Juncos, so I decided to continue on to Sudbury Reservoir Trail at Parkerville Road in Southboro.  Good decision!  I had a great look at a Belted Kingfisher.  The Belted Kingfisher is usually very elusive (at least to me).  Just seeing one is exciting, but to be able to get close enough to come away with a decent photo is a real thrill!
