I stopped in at Wildwood Cemetery to check on the birds tonight. I saw a hawk perched in one of its regular spots hunting. A pair of house finches was very upset by the hawk and were very close to it in the same tree. I thought they were very brave! (I added pink arrows to show you where the finches are). Way in the back of the cemetery, I spotted Tom Turkey with his new girlfriend. I felt just like a proud mama. He was strutting for her and showing all his fine tail feathers. I hope I get to see their poults some day!
