Wild Turkey

We had about 10 inches of snow in the last 24 hours.  The roads were still a bit slippery throughout the day.   Rock salt was having little effect because it was too cold.  

I finally filled my gas tank during my lunch break today, so I decided to drive through Wildwood Cemetery and see if I could find Tom Turkey.  The roads in the cemetery were plowed, but only a single lane.  I'm not complaining!  I was surprised to find it plowed at all.

Tom looked like he was surviving the cold weather all right, hanging out near a stocked bird feeder just behind this gravestone.

According to the radio, it was 13 degrees but felt like -17 degrees if you factor in the wind chill.
