Zabulon Skipper

I was able to contribute a species to the MBC October Derby.  I saw a Zabulon Skipper in my back yard!

One last lonely (but beautiful) bloom forced its way out in my Autumn garden.

At lunch, I stopped at Hopkinton State Park to see how the fall foliage was doing around the reservoir.  It has a ways to go still but was pretty.

I love this trail, but the trees that line it are dying and many have been cut down so the view is not quite as interesting as it used to be.

  1. Congratulations on the Zabulon Skipper!
I hope it's not your last butterfly of the year.
