American Lady Butterfly

American Lady butterfly

Thistle (so pretty!)

This abandoned lot is next to Hopkinton Drug in Hopkinton, MA.  Last year, there were only a few Queen Anne's Lace and not much else in the way of flowers.  This year, there is much more of a variety, including Queen Anne's lace, cone flowers, fleabane, and thistle, to name a few.  It is quite lovely and attracting pollinators!  It is fenced in on 3 sides, but the side that abuts the drugstore parking lot is open.

It's a good place to stop and check for butterflies!
