Wild Turkey

I spotted this wild turkey at Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland, Massachusetts.  I have seen turkeys here on nearly every visit.  This one had scratched a large spot in the earth and was just settling into it.  I got too close, though, and it took off to quieter parts.

The wild turkey is one of only two birds that is native to the United States.  It can be found in every state except Alaska.
