Kingfisher at Waseeka Wildlife Sanctuary

I had a nice hike at Waseeka today.  Very quiet and peaceful there.  After all the recent wind, the water was calm and showing some beautiful reflections.  It's stick season again.  Besides Canada geese (zzz), a Belted Kingfisher was the avian highlight.

Autumn Meadowhawk (wow - it was only 45 degrees)

 Belted Kingfisher

This beauty was on the far shore of the water, and I enjoyed watching it dive into the water three times.
