Cedar Waxwings

It's the first cold day here (high of 31), and the birds look hungry.  The holly bush in front of my house has a good crop of red berries on it, and it was attracting American Robins and Black-Capped Chickadees.  Also foraging around the garden or other shrubs were Northern Cardinals, Tufted Titmice, Dark-Eyed Juncos, Blue Jays, and a Song Sparrow.

At lunch, I drove over to Speedway Plaza in Westboro to check on the crabapple trees in the Wendy's parking lot.  European Starlings, American Robins, Black-Capped Chickadees and Cedar Waxwings were all enjoying the fruit on the trees.
