Double Crested Cormorant

We went up to the Schooner Festival in Gloucester today, so I took the day off from hiking.  I did take one photo of a double-crested cormorant just outside of the restaurant where we ate lunch.  I thought it was preening itself on top of this high roost, but in reality, once I could zoom in on the computer, I see that it was conducting some very important work trying to free itself from fishing line.    I hope he succeeds!  Doesn't he have the most beautiful turquoise eye color?
