My back is very bad right now, and it was hard to walk, but I forced myself down to the dam at Waseeka Wildlife Sanctuary. It was really pretty with the sun breaking through just as I arrived at the water and quickly disappearing before I headed out again. It's peak oak season and the trail was just carpeted with fallen leaves.

Besides the geese, there were lots of Tufted Titmice, Black-Capped Chickadees, American Crows, Autumn Meadowhawk dragonflies, and a single garter snake.
