A Visit to Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary

I began my nature part of my day at the Wayland Community Gardens, just taking my time and checking out whatever happened to be flying about.  I saw the following species (all common, but a nice variety):

American Crow
American Goldfinch
Black-Capped Chickadee
Blue Jay
Dark-Eyed Junco
European Starling
House Sparrow
Mourning Dove
Red-Tailed Hawk
Song Sparrow
Tufted Titmouse
White-Throated Sparrow

And....even though it was only in the 40s, there were several Cabbage Whites and Autumn Meadowhawks flying about.

In the afternoon, I took a short walk at Mass Audubon's Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary in Natick, with only about an hour to spare before the sun went down.  It was still cool, and there were lots of families with young children, but I did still manage to see a few interesting things.
