Sudbury Reservoir Trail

I spent my lunch hour prowling along the trail closest to the playing fields off Parkerville Road in Southboro.  Some bluebirds were drinking water out of a random plate-shapped item in the grass that had an inch or so of water on one side.  I wish I could have gotten a photo of them actually drinking the water!  It was cold today - about 35 degrees at 1:30.  The birds are puffing up to keep warm!

  1. Dawn, I think I have noticed the first bird that is more spectacular in Europe than in the USA! Our Goldfinch is more colourful than yours!!!
