Horned Larks and Snow Buntings

The snowstorm has eliminated most hiking trails unless you have cross-country skis or snowshoes, so I decided to drive over to the Worcester Municipal Airport in hopes of seeing the Horned Larks or Snow Buntings or both!

Crews were out in full force attempting to complete the necessary snow removal at the airport, in the parking lots and on the runways.

Now that's a snowblower!

 Horned Lark

 Snow Buntings - life bird!!

I also stopped in downtown Worcester to see if I could spot the Peregrine Falcons.  I did see them on a balcony of the Peoples Bank building, but wasn't able to get a very good photo.
